How They're Made part 2

Before we go to full production, we engineer and test the heck out of all of our products. We start out on the bench by bolting a rotor onto a high torque motor test machine, then we “Hit the brakes!”. We’ll heat up the rotors until the pads glaze over and almost melt. If they’re noisy, they go back into R&D. If they warp, they go back into R&D. If they don’t meet any of our standards, they don’t go to production, period. They go back into R&D.
